3. Limited Warranty Coverage
Subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, and limitations set out in this Warranty Policy, Nova DDMC Limited warrants that eligible products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery to the original purchaser unless otherwise stated in product-specific warranty documentation.
This voluntary limited warranty period does not limit or replace any statutory conformity rights that may apply for a longer period under the laws of the customer’s jurisdiction, including rights under EU consumer protection legislation which may provide a minimum conformity period of two years.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is generally non-transferable except where transferability is required by applicable law.
This warranty applies to both consumer and commercial purchasers unless a product-specific warranty states otherwise.
4. Product-Specific Warranty Terms
Certain products may be accompanied by product-specific warranty documentation, manuals, warranty booklets, supplemental warranty terms, or additional warranty information.
Product-specific warranty terms supplement this Warranty Policy and may provide additional details regarding:
• warranty duration;
• covered components;
• maintenance requirements;
• compatible accessories or components;
• product-specific exclusions;
• service procedures; and
• available remedies.
Where a conflict exists between this Warranty Policy and product-specific warranty documentation, the product-specific warranty documentation governs for matters relating specifically to that product.
5. What Is Covered
Subject to the exclusions set out in this Warranty Policy, the warranty generally covers:
• defects in materials;
• defects in workmanship;
• manufacturing defects present under normal intended use;
• failures resulting directly from manufacturing or assembly defects.
The Company will determine, acting reasonably and in good faith, whether a reported issue qualifies as a covered warranty defect.
6. What Is Not Covered
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, this warranty does not cover:
• normal wear and tear;
• cosmetic wear, scratches, dents, discoloration, or surface finish changes consistent with normal use over time;
• consumable components and wear items;
• damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, improper handling, or improper storage;
• damage resulting from operation outside intended specifications;
• damage resulting from improper maintenance or failure to follow product instructions;
• damage resulting from unauthorised repairs, modifications, alterations, or disassembly;
• damage caused by third-party accessories, components, attachments, or equipment;
• damage caused by incompatible components or accessories;
• damage resulting from environmental conditions outside intended operating conditions;
• shipping damage occurring after delivery has been completed;
• products purchased from unauthorised resellers where authenticity or product history cannot reasonably be verified.
This warranty does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, continuous availability, or suitability for any particular purpose beyond that required by applicable law.
7. Third-Party Components & Accessories
The Company may design products that are compatible with third-party accessories, attachments, components, or consumables.
The Company does not provide any warranty for third-party products manufactured or supplied by independent third parties.
Use of third-party components does not automatically void this warranty. However, damage caused by incompatible, defective, improperly installed, or unsuitable third-party components is not covered under this Warranty Policy.
8. Warranty Claim Procedure
Customers seeking warranty service should contact the Company at info@novaddmc.com.
Warranty requests should include:
• customer name;
• order reference number;
• product identification information where available;
• description of the issue;
• photographs or supporting evidence where reasonably requested; and
• any additional information reasonably required to evaluate the claim.
The Company will use reasonable efforts to respond to warranty enquiries within approximately 3–5 business days.
Where a warranty claim is approved, the Company will use reasonable efforts to resolve the claim within a commercially reasonable timeframe, having regard to the nature of the defect, the required remedy, product availability, and applicable operational considerations.
9. Inspection & Verification
Products submitted for warranty evaluation may be inspected, tested, or examined by the Company or its designated service providers.
The Company reserves the right to request:
• photographs;
• videos;
• proof of purchase;
• return of the product;
• return of specific components; or
• additional diagnostic information.
Warranty coverage may be denied where the Company reasonably determines that the reported issue is not covered under this Warranty Policy.
10. Warranty Remedies
If the Company determines that a valid warranty claim exists, the Company may, at its discretion:
• repair the product;
• replace the product;
• replace individual components;
• provide a refurbished equivalent product or component;
• provide store credit, where agreed by the customer;
• issue a full or partial refund; or
• provide another commercially reasonable remedy.
The specific remedy selected shall be determined by the Company based on product availability, operational considerations, and the nature of the defect. Where applicable law requires that a specific remedy be available to the customer, such statutory remedy rights will be respected.
Replacement products or components may be new, refurbished, reconditioned, or functionally equivalent items.
11. Warranty Shipping & Service Logistics
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or agreed by the Company in writing, customers are responsible for shipping products submitted for warranty evaluation. If a warranty claim is approved, the Company may reimburse reasonable inbound shipping costs or provide prepaid return shipping arrangements at its discretion. Shipping costs associated with warranty evaluations that result in a denied claim remain the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise required by applicable law.
The Company reserves the right to determine the most appropriate warranty service location.
12. Geographic Service Availability
Warranty service may be provided through return-to-service-centre arrangements, component replacement, remote troubleshooting, repair, replacement, or other commercially reasonable methods depending on the customer’s location and the Company’s operational capabilities.
The Company will use reasonable efforts to provide warranty service to all customers from whom products were accepted for sale. Available service arrangements and logistics may vary by region and product type. Customers with questions about warranty service availability in their location are encouraged to contact the Company at info@novaddmc.com before initiating a warranty claim.
13. Limitation of Warranty
This Warranty Policy represents the full extent of Nova DDMC Limited’s voluntary product warranty. No distributor, reseller, dealer, representative, employee, contractor, or third party is authorised to modify, extend, or create warranty obligations on behalf of the Company unless expressly authorised in writing.
14. Consumer Statutory Rights
Customers may possess statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws, including rights relating to:
• defective products;
• repair;
• replacement;
• refunds;
• conformity of goods;
• implied warranties; and
• consumer guarantees.
These statutory rights operate independently of this Warranty Policy and are not excluded, waived, or limited by it.
15. Relationship to Other Policies
This Warranty Policy forms part of the Company’s broader legal framework.
Where a product issue qualifies as a warranty claim, the procedures and remedies set out in this Warranty Policy take precedence over the general Returns & Refund Policy for that matter.
Where a conflict exists between this Warranty Policy and product-specific warranty documentation, the product-specific warranty documentation prevails for matters relating specifically to that product.
For all other matters, the Master Terms & Conditions remain controlling.
16. Changes to This Warranty Policy
Nova DDMC Limited reserves the right to modify or update this Warranty Policy from time to time.
Updated versions will be published on the Website with an updated effective date. Material changes will apply to purchases made after the updated effective date. Purchases made prior to that date remain governed by the Warranty Policy in effect at the time of purchase unless otherwise required by applicable law.
